Sargaboat™ – Collecting Sargassum Offshore Before It Reaches the Shore
Contrary to popular belief, our complete Sargassum harvesting sets of three boats are much more affordable than most assume.
How the Sargaboat™ Works
The Sargaboat™ is a specially designed vessel that collects sargassum at sea, including open water and along floating barriers. Entirely invented, engineered, and built by our team, it integrates seamlessly with our towing trailer system to ensure continuous and autonomous harvesting.
Performance and Efficiency
One Sargaboat™ operating with a Sargatrailer™ can collect up to 500 m³ of sargassum per day, intercepting as much as 95% of the seaweed before landfall. This system helps prevent beach degradation and protects marine biodiversity.
Our measurements of fresh sargassum indicate an approximate density of 400 kg/m³. Using 400 kg/m³ as a reference, this represents approximately 190 tonnes of wet sargassum per day per equipment set of One Sargaboat™ and Two Sargatrailer™.

190 tonnes of sargassum ≈ 32 standard 15 m³ dump trucks filled with fresh sargassum.
